Project Location

The location is administratively part of the Merangin district, the location can be reached by air using regular flights from Jakarta to Jambi with a travel time of 1 hour 10 minutes. Then continue using a smaller plane to Muarabungo with a travel time of approximately 45 minutes.

The location can be reached using a small vehicle for approximately 2 hours.

Adjacent Map

Iron ore project Jambi consist of 3 concessions that need to be visited and overviewed, namely:
1. Putra Sarko Mining (PSM) with an area of 206Ha.

2. Sahabat Baru Century (SBC), the concession is divided into 2, namely SBC block I with an area of 8,913Ha and SBC block II with an area of 6800Ha.

3. Mineral Merangin Prosperous (MMS) with an area of 406Ha.
There are 2 coal concessions directly adjacent to PT Rajawali Terbang Tinggi (RTT) and PT Andalas Maju Multimineral (AMM), in addition, there are 2 concessions with iron ore commodities, namely PT Sitasa Energi and PT Randu Hijau Lestari.

Current Condition – Mining Area SBC

Locations found small boulder magnetite, hematite and laterite.

Study References

Based on the historical exploration study, 3 concessions have different exploration stages:

1

MMS Concession

Previous exploration activities were only limited to preliminary geomagnetic with three observation points. From these observations, the quality of iron ore for other exploration activities such as geological mapping, drilling, and other geophysical investigations has not been carried out.

2

SBC Concession

No previous exploration activities such as geological mapping, drilling, or geophysical investigations have been carried out. Previous investigations were only limited to checking the location of the outcrop, from the results of checking the location of the outcrop in the SBC concession, no outcrop was found in the form of ore bodies, so only boulder-boulder. Of the several samples that entered the SBC concession, there were only 2 samples, and for laboratory test results the Fe content in both samples was below 50%.

3

PSM Concession

Exploration and evaluation activities have been carried out in the PSM concession, namely a magnetic survey by Lapi ITB in 2008, a review and evaluation for a trial pit by a consultant John T Boyd Company in 2008, in 2014 PT Asia Sumberdaya Teknologi conducted an exploration investigation in the form of Resistyivity & IP Survey and drilling for 40 drill point locations within the PSM concession.

Study References – PSM (Resistivity and IP Survey)

The Resistivity and IP survey was conducted by a team from YEKADA in 2013, this research was conducted with 192 passes with an azimuth direction of N40° E – N 255° E and for a distance of 60-70m per pass. This research has covered the entire PSM concession area of 206Ha.

Study References – PSM (Drilling)

The initial drilling activity was carried out at 11 points by the Earthstone Resources team, namely 11 drill points, and the location of these points was in the former PSM mining pit or it could be said to have been mined for iron ore deposits.

In 2014 re-drilling was carried out by the Asia Group team with 40 drill points within the PSM concession.

The drill data only accommodates a 30Ha area on the north side of the concession, while the potential for iron ore based on the results of the resistivity and IP survey on the south side has not been accommodated.

Study References – PSM (Drilling)

Core analysis from drilling shows that the range of %Fe content was estimated to be minimum 55.72 and maximum 63.58.

Proposed Port Location

There are 3 possible ports that can be used, namely:

1. Teluk Bayur Port

The location of the port is in the city of Padang with a distance from the existing stockpile of approximately 352Km. This road capacity can be used for 20-25ton class dump trucks.

2. Talang Duku Port

The location of the port is in the city of Jambi with a distance of approximately 277Km from the existing stockpile. This road capacity can be used for 8-10ton class dump trucks.

3. Bakauheni Port

The location of the port is in the city of Bandar Lampung with a distance of approximately 439 km from the existing stockpile, this road includes the new Palembang-Bakauheni toll road with a distance of approximately 359 km.
